Goodbye Old Friend
goodbye to Black Beauty today. The Honda dealer is writing up the
trade paperwork as I type this...
She took great care of me, getting me back and forth to West Lafayette
for years and now countless trips to Louisville. She never
complained, even after I brought her from her garage-kept life in
Cincy to the icy cold of UK's parking lots. When an 18-year-old ran a
red light in 2001, she kept me safe at considerable cost to her health
and ego.
Here's to you, Beauty... I hope your next owners appreciate you as
much as I do.
